Future of Construction Symposium

Future of Construction 2023 Symposium is a collaborative endeavor co-organized by Design++ and hosted at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) from September 13-15 2023. This symposium marked the continuation of an impactful series of events initiated at ETH Zurich in 2022, jointly initiated and co-organized by researchers associated with the NCCR Digital Fabrication and Design++.

Delving into the realm of human-machine collaborations in design and construction, the symposium provided a fertile ground for exploring the fusion of human creativity and machine precision. Together, participants from academia, start-ups, and the construction industry engaged in thought-provoking discussions on the symbiotic relationship between human ingenuity and technological advancements.
The hybrid event format brought together diverse perspectives, contributing to the discourse on the ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable development of the built environment. Design++, as a co-organizer, played a pivotal role in shaping this transformative event, further solidifying its commitment to fostering innovation at the intersection of design and technology.

Symposium on Human-Machine Teams for Design and Sustainable Construction 2023, TU Delft
